nauticaCubanacan Nautica, marinas and nautical centres company under Grupo Cubanacan, began operations on August 24, 1994, with the view to meet the increasing demand for nautical sports arising from the development of hotel capacities and the need to take advantage of our dearest asset: the sea.Cubanacan Nautica is furnished with 78 own boats and 27 leased boats or under joint operation. The staff, 526 workers scattered throughout its facilities at every tourist cluster in the country, ensure expertise and professional knowledge.

Cubanacan Nautica deals particularly in nautical tourism and diving in all various fields, namely, on board life, international events and tournaments, sport fishing, beach clubs, seafaris and nautical tours.It leases, under various modalities, facilities, boats and equipment to facilitate tourist activities. It also acts as international sports docks servicing sport and leisure boats for mechanical repairs and maintenance; as well as supplying, attention to crews and expert staff in related activities. Furthermore, it offers specialised information on navigation. It facilitates technical and economic operation of boats and other naval related means.

Imports nautical means and equipment as well as naval hardware for marketing; and particularly, it imports at request, and advises the customer on the possibilities of the market Cubanacan Nautica promotes development and investment projects for the creation of new marinas, nautical centres, diving centres, and accommodation capacities for specialised tourism. Additionally, it fusters businesses for joint operation of boats, diving centres, and others in the field of nautical activities; it puts up fleets for on board life, beach clubs and others contributing to maximise nautical tourism at Cuban coastal areas and keys.
