Varadero golf course was designed by Canadian architect, Les Forbes. 

Both greens and fairways are irrigated, eight holes have water hazards, and there are many sand traps along the fairways as well as near the greens. 

Some holes border the beach giving the golfer a spectacular view of the sea. 

There are three putting greens, one pitching green, practice bunkers and two driving ranges.

Varadero is about 2 hours by road from Havana. 
Varadero's international golfcourse occupies a unique site overlooking the best beach and turquoise seas in Cuba. 

There is a resident PGA pro. Our hotel is either the 1930s mansion, Xanadu, an exclusive six bedroom house with a la carte restaurant and Cuba's best wine cellar or the Melia 5* Las Americas both next door to the course.

The course is an International 18-hole green which is very interesting to play for professionals and novices alike.
